This book contains almost everything about western philosophy history. The readers are given a good picture of it. However, another way of saying everything is included is too much is included, subsequently leading to poor details of the most inportant philosophiers. Besides, another unfavorable factor is the content of history overpower that of philosophy. Overall, the presentation of too much history makes the book more theoretical than practical. Getting more info about history is always good than doing nothing, but that does little help to gaining insight about philosophy.
