Just quickly read this book, comparing with other novels I perused recently. I really enjoyed this book, the protagonist of the book is an old fisherman, the novel may seem simple at the beginning, but it tells the story of bravery and heroism as well loneliness, it shows some typical and vivid representations of life in the form of metaphor for routines we live and problems we suffered. You and me are one another Santiago in our own life, who accepts providence after reincarnation and faces challenges by fate, and have to summon our energy and courage with faith to fight till the end of our strength. This book plausibly designates in the hints of religious elements, if my comprehension is correct, to reveal that individuals need others to support them at difficult moments in need as well as charge some power to rivals to keep your momentum to go, the rival is there, you will be there better.
The whole episode of fishing impressed me with uninterrupted strength and the old man’s perseverance, the old man has never thought of withdrawing from the fight. I do believe this book will impact on me, at least I am going to read this book or tell the story to my son Seven at his bedtime. I like the depicts of sea voyage or adventure, all the time, the old man shows his inner harmonic world.
